1. What We Collect
When you use Kammy, we collect:
- Identity information — your full name and mobile number, provided when you create a booking.
- Booking & payment data — the events you book, your chosen EMI plan, and your payment history with Kammy.
- Usage data — pages visited and interactions on the platform, collected anonymously via Vercel Analytics.
- Device information — browser type and OS, used only for troubleshooting.
We do not collect your Aadhaar, PAN, or any government-issued ID at this stage.
2. How We Use Your Data
- To verify your identity via OTP before processing a booking.
- To review and approve your EMI application.
- To send you booking confirmations and EMI reminders via SMS.
- To improve the platform and detect fraud or misuse.
We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.
3. OTP Verification
We use your mobile number solely to verify your identity. OTPs are single-use, expire within 10 minutes, and are never stored after use. Your number is not shared with event organisers.
4. Data Sharing
We share your information only with:
- SMS providers (Twilio) — to deliver OTPs and booking notifications.
- Infrastructure providers — Vercel (hosting) and Railway (database), both with data-processing agreements in place.
- Law enforcement — when required by applicable Indian law.
5. Data Retention
We retain your booking records for 3 years after your last transaction for accounting and dispute resolution purposes. You may request deletion of your account and personal data at any time by contacting us — we will process requests within 30 days, subject to legal retention obligations.
6. Security
All data is transmitted over HTTPS. Your phone number is stored in a private database with restricted access. We do not store OTPs or payment card details. Our admin panel is protected by token-based authentication.
7. Your Rights
You have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal data. To exercise these rights, email us at hello@kammy.in from the address associated with your account, or WhatsApp us with your registered mobile number.
8. Cookies
Kammy does not use tracking cookies. Vercel Analytics uses anonymised, cookie-free analytics that comply with GDPR and India's DPDP Act.
9. Children
Kammy is not intended for users under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as the platform evolves. Significant changes will be communicated via SMS to registered users.
